New Photographic Competition

Get snapping and enter our new competition!

The theme is Winter Sun and entries should have been taken within the parish of Woodford, Cheshire, between 1 December 2011 and 31 March 2012.

The winning entry will be chosen by a panel of independent judges and the prize - generously donated by the proprietor - will be a three-course meal for two from the set menu at Olivers Restaurant, Chester Road, Woodford. The prize, which excludes drinks, may be taken at any time apart from Friday and Saturday evenings.

Terms and Conditions

This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Photographs should be based on the theme Winter Sun, and must have been taken after 30 November 2011 within the parish of Woodford, Cheshire. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
All entries must be received by midnight on 31 March 2012.
The winner will be notified by telephone or email and his or her name will be published on the website with the winning photograph.
The prize must be taken within three months of being awarded. It is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. It does not include drinks and any extras ordered must be paid for separately.

Photographic Competition – Spring 2011

We are pleased to announce that the winner is Mr Kris Hayward for his entry entitled Church Spring 1 - pictured below.

Mr Hayward is pictured right receiving details of the prize from WCC Chairman Paul Rodman.

The winning entry was chosen by an independent judge, Mr Ian Hardy, who is a keen amateur photographer and who was assisted by his wife, Sandra.
