- Get an alarm and remember to use it
- Lock all windows and doors even when you are at home
- Leave a light and the radio on when you go out
- Don't leave valuables on show
- If you see any suspicious activity, call the police on 0161 872 5050
- You can report your suspicions anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
- Call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress
- Mark and photograph your valuables and register them at www.immobilise.com
